Our hybrid systems work on both solar and grid electricity. During daytime, the loads are operated by solar energy. During nighttime, they are operated using the energy stored in solar batteries or on grid electricity. Batteries are charged by solar energy or grid energy or both. Our systems are modular and easily expandable. They also provide full UPS functionality. System Configuration, annual solar production, connected load, battery backup duration, and component details for our standard hybrid systems are shown on this page. Systems can be customized for higher levels of solar production and longer battery backup. System and component information may change at any time without notice.
Warranty:
One Year
Maintenance:
Monthly cleaning of solar panels and checking of battery water level. We do not recommend sealed batteries because of their limited life.
System Configuration and Solar Production:
Connected Load:
* Energy efficient inverter-technology based refrigerator and air conditioner.
1. Solar power is estimated to cater for half of energy needs if the load usage is kept under 10 hours per day. The other half will be provided by grid power.
2. Battery backup duration is estimated to be 5 hours if half of the connected load is operational.
3. Load quantities are presented as example only. Any combination of loads can be used as long as total watt limit is not exceeded.
4. Outdoor shade-free space for solar panels: 2.0m x 2.5m per KVA. Indoor space for battery and controls: 0.5m x 0.5m per KVA
